The highly anticipated Vijay Antony starrer psychological thriller 'Bethaludu' has reportedly started going down at box office from second day itself. On the other hand, Mohanlal's 'Manyam Puli' has taken a strong opening on Day One and is expected to post much better numbers in the following day's thanks to good word of mouth.Of course, Bethaludu took a massive opening on its first day but the poor word of mouth and criticising reviews seem to have worked against its box office prospects. As per early reports, the collections on the second day dropped heavily and the exhibitors are said to be worried.
Since Bichagadu became a roaring success, the distributors and exhibitors invested big sums for the rights of Bethaladu and going by this trend, they are staring at losses.On the other hand, Mohanlal's 'Manyam Puli' has reportedly taken a bumper opening, which in fact surprised the trade analysts. The film has done well in single screens as well as multiplexes.With positive word of mouth in its kitty and Mohanlal riding high on the success of 'Janatha Garage', this 'Puli' is expected to rule box office until 'Dhruva' arrives on 9th December.
