Extra Review
by MyMazaa.comThere is nothing wrong with adult themes.
But when the aim is at cheap titillation, the film will certainly be classified as poor pornography.
And that is what happens to Xtra.
Those behind the movie make no bones (their eyes are on flesh, as it were) about what they are up to --- right from the give-away title (Xtra) to the teasy promos, everything promises some cheap, puerile, fantasy fun. Worse, in the name of glamour, they vulgarize everything associated with sex and women.
There is no major plot in the film --- a college student falls in love with the college physical trainer (yuck, what weird imagination). But he realizes his folly when he gets to live with her. So he turns clean.
It is muck, mindless and madness, no less.
The film is filled with double entendre dialogues, liberal show of flesh and kinky ideas --- somebody with a sick mind must have dreamt up all these. (It is major surprise as to how some scenes passed the Censors scissors --- were they also ogling at the liberal dose of flesh on view?)
This weirdo film has Santosh Pawan, Naveen and Ruthika Singh in the main lead and Suman Shetty, Kondavala Lakshmana Rao, Krishna Bhagawan and Brahmanandam add a vulgar dose of silly fun in the name of comedy.
Director Veeru is under illusions. He knows what he has got into and goes the whole hog with it.
The sad part is he may have the last laugh.
