Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan is happy and proud that he has been able to work with the "Amar Akbar Anthony" trio - Vinod Khanna, Rishi Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan - in just over a decade of being in the film industry.
"Just did my 1st shot with Vinod uncle for 'Players'. I can now proudly say that I've worked with AMAR AKBAR ANTHONY!! awesomeness! (sic)," Abhishek posted on his Twitter page.
"Amar Akbar Anthony" is the title of Manmohan Desai's superhit film, released in 1977, which starred Amitabh Bachchan, Vinod Khanna and Rishi Kapoor in the lead roles.
The 35-year-old definitely seemed proud, as he added: "Don't know many actors of my generation that have been lucky enough to say that."
Abhishek has worked with his father Amitabh in "Bunty Aur Babli", "Sarkar", "Sarkar Raj", "Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna" and "Paa", while he shared screen space with the evergreen Rishi in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's "Delhi-6".
Abass-Mustan's "Players", an action thriller, also features Bobby Deol, Sonam Kapoor, Bipasha Basu, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Omi Vaidya and Sikander Kher. It is the official remake of the 2003 American film "The Italian Job".
