After a shaky opening weekend, DHAMAAL went on to register good numbers in it's first three week with collections in the tune of 25 crores. Though no one was disputing the box office success for the film, there was still a question mark over it's eventual HIT tag.
The film can finally wear this tag for itself as this Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, Riteish Deshmukh, Javed Jaffry and Ashish Chaudhary film has sustained excellently in it's 4th week to see a negligible fall from it's third week. This means that the film has now totaled around 28 crore and would comfortably cross the 30 crores mark.
A clear cut HIT now, it is second successive success for Riteish after HEYY BABYY. Even for Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi, it is third big money spinner after the twin success of Munnabhai. Also, their ANTHONY KAUN HAI had managed to scrape through in the long run while currently doing decently on the DVD circuits.
