Shah Rukh Khan is not known as the King Khan for no reason. He is been ruling the box office for ages and has a huge fan base worldwide for his work on screen. But it looks like the actor chose not be leave this for Hollywood fame. His millions of admirers wonder why SRK hasn't been offered a Hollywood film yet.
There is no denying that his fans across the globe want to see SRK spell some magic in Hollywood too and it's next to impossible to think that the superstar has never been offered a film in the west. Filmmaker Farah Khan, who is known to be a close friend of actor Shah Rukh Khan, has revealed that he has been offered many roles in Hollywood, however he turned them down. “I know for a fact that Shah Rukh has turned down many Hollywood roles as they were not big enough for him,” she said.
Shah Rukh and Farah have worked together in films such as Main Hoon Na (2004), Om Shanti Om (2007) and Happy New Year (2014). This is quite a revelation we must say. On the professional front, Farah’s last directorial venture Happy New Year was released in 2014. She has not had any releases since then.
As far as SRK is concerned, he was last seen in FAN. At present, he has Dear Zindagi and the crime-thriller Raees in his kitty. Meanwhile, actors such as Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone have bagged plum roles in Hollywood. While Priyanka is currently seen in AmericanTV show Quantico and will also be part of film Baywatch, Deepika will be seen in XXX: Return of Xander Cage.
