It seems Kareena Kapoor will have to wait a while before she can start work on her dream project, ' Lajjo'. Directed by Mani Rathnam, she would be paired with perfectionist Aamir Khan for the first time. This much anticipated film was supposed to start this December or January, 2007, but with Aamir planning to kick start the remake of Tamil hit 'Ghajini' under his own home production in January, it seems 'Lajjo' will have to wait till August, 2007 to finally start.
For the meanwhile Kareena is basking in the glory of boyfriend Shahid Kapoor's first super hit 'Vivah'. No, she is not in a hurry to sign new films. And no, she isn't bothered about her pairing with one time lover Hrithik Roshan in Zoya Akhtar's directorial debut. As of now Kareena is listening to new scripts and is determined to do quality work. Seems Aamir Khan effect is catching up big time in Bollywood.
