Actor Ranveer Singh, who suffered an injury due to a fall from a horse while shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's directorial “Bajirao Mastani” earlier this year, is now back at work.
In May, Ranveer's injury had forced the actor to rest for nearly two months, read a statement.
Determined to make a full recovery, Ranveer focussed on healing and physiotherapy extensively. Earlier, the movement of his shoulder after surgery was restricted, and physiotherapists worked on increasing the range of his shoulder’s movements.
Happy with the treatment, he said: “I’ve been treated like an athlete would be treated. It’s three hours of physiotherapy each day, one hour in the morning followed by an hour in the middle of shoot and an hour post wrap.
“The physiotherapy program assigned to me is the same as one assigns to a professional athlete and the recovery has been five times faster than that of a normal person.”
The injury had compelled the 30-year-old to stop all physically intensive shooting; however, Bhansali continued to shoot other portions during this time.
