Records struggling to survive in Bollywood

It's raining money in Bollywood.

The new attraction towards the Hindi film industry world wide due to active promotions coupled with the emergence of new overseas markets for the films and the interest of a lot big companies to be part of B-Town as production houses has made the remuneration of stars, directors to leap up like never before.

Whether it may be the top stars, directors and distribution companies everyone is spending huge bucks with an eye on the future.

Previous records for the costliest movie ever made and the highest remuneration packages for the stars all have just a short life in the top slot as new more expensive projects are announced within a short span of time.

The other day there was this news of Sajid Khan, a new film maker having just one film in his kitty rejecting a package of 9 crores.
A couple of years back a new director could never think of getting paid in crores.

Even before that the news of Saif Ali Khan rejecting a package of 30 crores hit the news stands.

The latest ones to add to the record list are from two of the top most actors in B-Town.

Hrithik Roshan's new film 'Kites' which became a boiling topic some time back due to the search for a new leading lady for the epitome of glamour in B-Town Hrithik Roshan is back in the hot pot again.

This time it is not the Hollywood and Latin American heroines who are the discussion topics but the mammoth sum of Rs 120 crore for which the film's rights were bought by Eros International.

This astronomical amount is being talked upon as the highest ever paid for acquiring the rights of a film in B-Town.

How can the king who is an expert and has a never ending quest for taking risks be left behind when he is also known for the big money with which he juggle with.

Badshah of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan's new film from his own Red Chillies Productions is tipped to be the film that will get the credit of the costliest film ever made in India.

The movie which will have world class special effects put to effect by some of the most renowned special effects technicians in the world will have a budget of Rs.1 billion.

There is one more billion to be pumped into the entertainment business by a highly successful producer.
Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, the production banner of Sajid Nadiadwala, the successful producer of films such as "Hey Baby" and "Mujse Shaadi Karogi" is on the verge of investing Rs.1.billion in buying a 50 percent share in a leading television channel.

Not only that Sajid Nadiadwala is also planning to acquire a large number of one screen theatres all over India to strengthen his movie production business.

This is comparatively a new phenomenon in the B-Town where the producers are also trying to create more mileage for their films by embracing the role of an exhibitor too.

Quite natural to try to form a solid fully controllable platform for the business of movie making when such huge amounts are being diverted.

By the time a person finishes reading this article there is a good chance that the future record holder for the costliest film or a multi million entertainment business deal must have already got finalized inside the walls of a film production company.
