A least expected or say a weird incident has happened to the disadvantage of acclaimed director Jagmohan Mundra.
Pakistan has banned his film 'Shoot On Sight' just because the actor Mikaal Zulfikar who hails from Pakistan plays the role of a terrorist in the movie.
Although he is not shown perpetuating any sort of violence and is presented as a clandestine member of a terrorist organization, a dialogue in the movie acted as the villain.
In a particular scene having Nasseruddin Shah who plays a police officer with Scotland Yard and Om Puri who plays a Muslim cleric, it is revealed that the character played by Mikaal is really from Pakistan.
The authorities who banned the film did not like the character of the terrorist being presented as from their country and got offended.
But the ban will only act as a form of advertisement for the film in Pakistan where Bollywood films are the general source of entertainment and the demand for the pirated C.Ds of 'Shoot On Sight' will only increase.
