Although Ravichandran has kept himself busy over the last 24 months by taking up projects as an actor, Ravichandran the director was last seen in 2014, when he helmed Crazy Star. But the 54-year-old filmmaker-actor is back as a director with his upcoming film Apoorva, in which he plays a 61-year-old, who romances a 19-year-old girl.
According to a report, the entire story of Apoorva unfolds inside an elevator, when the two central characters of the movie get stuck in it for two hours. "It is a film that is designed by Ravichandaran. It is written and directed by the mind, supported by situations and calculations and framed by the eyes," the Crazy Star has said when asked about the film. The Love You Alia actor has been working on the movie for a very long time. "After a long time I am happy to say that I am 110% satisfied with the way this film has turned out," he has said.
