Hatrick Hero Shiva Rajkumar, who is busy with multiple projects has given a 'go ahead' to another project, for which Rachita Ram has been selected as the heroine as per a leading daily.
The movie in discussion is Khadar, which will be directed by debutant Kumar S Raj, who has worked for movies like Govindaya Namaha, in the past. Apart from directing, Kumar S Raj has written story and screenplay for the flick.
Rachita Ram, who has shared screen space with big stars like Darshan, Sudeep, Puneeth, and Sri Murali is acting with Shivanna for the first time. According to the sources, Rachita has liked her character and script which made her sign the project without a second thought. However, this is yet to be officially announced and Rachita is waiting for the team of Khadar to reveal this. K A Suresh, who has delivered back-to-back hits through his production house Suresh Arts, is bankrolling the project.
Incidentally, the producer approached Shivanna to convince the star to narrate the script of Khadar, but Shivanna suggested Suresh to listen to the script of P Vasu. Suresh, impressed with the script came forward to produce it, which was Shivalinga and it completed 100 days recently. During the same time, Shivanna had agreed to be part of Khadar, as he liked the one-liner narrated by Kumar S Raj and Suresh. As per that, now the pre-production work has started and teaser is being readied to be launched at the 100 days event of Shivalinga which is to be held on June 19.
There is no news about the shooting schedules yet, and this will be announced once the teaser is released. Meanwhile, Shivanna is looking forward for the release of Santheyalli Nintha Kabeera, and shooting for Srikanta. Shivanna is yet to confirm the project he will start shooting next. Rachita Ram is shooting for Pushpaka Vimana and Bharjari.
