Doctors of a private hospital at Kuppam in Chittoor district got the shock of their life while performing a surgery to a 23-Year-Old Man after they found uterus (womb) which is the female reproductive sex organ.
Amaresh, a farm worker who is a native of Itukapalli village in Tamil Nadu, got admitted to Sri Priya Nursing Home in Kuppam after he complained of severe pain in his right testicle. After examining this case, Doctors decided to perform a surgery believing its related to testicles. But, They were shocked to find uterus and ovaries, similar to that in women. However, The physiological functions of uterus or menstrual phases weren't happening. And to their surprise, Ovaries act like Testicles in this case.
When enquires, Amaresh told he was like that since his birth. Its nothing but a genetic disorder called Persistent Mullerian Duct, which happens in very rare cases.
Finally, Doctors removed the uterus from the body of the patient. They even assure he could lead a normal life post marriage and could even have kids.
