New Delhi: Narendra Modi was the star guest at a dinner hosted by BJP President Rajnath Singh in New Delhi for his party MPs where the Gujarat Chief Minister and veteran L K Advani shared the table sitting next to each other and sharing warm vibes.
Modi was the only special invitee at the annual dinner the BJP president hosts for party MPs.
While Modi arrived early and was seen interacting with the guests, Advani arrived well past 10 pm after participating in the vote on the Land Acquisition Bill in Lok Sabha.
Sources said he was seated at the same table as Modi, in fact right next to the BJP campaign committee chief and the two shared warm vibes. The high table also had Rajnath along with the two Leaders of the Opposition Sushma Swaraj and Arun Jaitley.
Advani had resigned from all party positions in the wake of Modi's anointment as the poll campaign panel chief. He later withdrew his resignations following the intervention by RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat. Around 200 BJP MPs attended the dinner.
