YSR Congress legislator Pothula Rama Rao on Friday joined Telugu Desam Party in the presence of party supremo Chandrababu Naidu in Vijayawada.
Speaking to media, Mr. Rama Rao told that he took the decision to support CBN's leadership in the best interest of people of his constituency. He is hopeful of developing his constituency in the next three years under Naidu's rule.
Pothula Rama Rao is representing Kandukur Assembly Constituency. With the latest defection, The strength of YSR Congress in Prakasam district has come down from Six to Two.
