A movie on paranormal beings in Tamil cinema is a new attempt. The trio Hari Shankar, Hareesh Narayan and Krishna Sekar has ventured to do a movie titled Eraa, which speaks about the existence of paranormal things in universe.
Talking about the film, the trio says, 'we have been involved in the study of paranormal activities and working with instruments like oyja board, supposedly to bring the spirits of dead men for a conversation and electronic voice phenomena (which receives voice on videotape for which there is no known physical source).
Eraa which means night in Tamil was shot in HD format in places at Munnar which are believed to haunt by ghosts. We have attempted to shoot the movie from audience's vantage point that gives a first person view to render direct experience.
Believe it or not! The directors claim that veteran lyricist, who passed away couple of decades ago, has penned the lyrics for a song.
Acccording to the directors, C Rathinaswamy, who reportedly interacts with spirits of the dead men, had obtained the lyrics from the spirit of Kannadasan. Produced by G Hari Shankar, the movie has musical score by G Sathish. The lead roles are played by G Satheesh, Avanthika, Asha, Indira and Ajay.
