Ace director Vasanthabalan’s much anticipated flick ‘Angadi Theru’ is is going to hit the screens today. It is the director Vasanthabalan’s magnum opus releasing after four years gap next to his critically acclaimed film ‘Veyil’.
The film is being promoted vigourously by Ayngaran International, who is going to present the film in nearly 200 screens across the world and will be releasing in 10 screens across the Chennai city.
Director Vasanthabalan says “The film is about people who come from small towns in southern Tamil Nadu to Chennai looking for a job. The film is set in Chennai’s, Ranganathan Street in T Nagar. It is about how everything, including human emotion, is up for sale in the marketplace.”
The film features new comer Mahesh in the lead role and Anjali of ‘Kattradhu Thamizh’ fame pairs opposite him. GV Prakash has composed the music for the film.
