We have already reported that Superstar Rajinikanth's action packed Kabali has grossed Rs 48 Cr on its opening day surpassing Salman Khan's Sultan (which collected 36.54 Cr) but failed to beat Rajamouli's 50 Cr opening profit for Baahubali. Directed by Pa Ranjith, experts are expecting more records from the Superstar and the film is going strong at box offices in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Kerala.
The latest is that the film has crossed the 200 Cr mark in its opening weekend. Reportedly, it has grossed 123 Cr in India and 87 Cr overseas in three days.
