Official: Suriya's 'S3' to release on a Thursday

Actor Suriya's most awaited flick 'S3' will be hitting the screens in both Tamil and Telugu versions on January 26, 2017 (Thursday) and will be enjoying the four day Republic day weekend.K.E.Gnanavel Raja who has produced this mega mass entertainer under his Studio Green banner had earlier announced that the film will be hitting the screens on December 16, 2016. Then it was postponed to December 23. But last week Suriya announced that 'S3' release has been postponed again without announcing the new release date.Now it the makers have officially confirmed the release date as January 26. Earlier it was expected that the film will release for Pongal 2017 along with VIjay's 'Bairavaa' but now a Vijay-Suriya clash has been averted for good.'S3' is the third part of the blockbuster 'Singam' series directed by Hari. The film stars Suriya, Anushka and Shruti Haasan in lead roles. Radharavi, Nasser, Vijayakumar and a lot of other actors have been retained for the roles the played in the 2010 blockbuster 'Singam' and the 2013 blockbuster 'Singam 2'. There are also new additions to the long list of supporting actors that includes Raadhika, Soori, Chaams, Krish, Robo Shankar and Nithin Sathya among others. Thakaru Anoop Singh plays the lead antagonist in the film.Top music director Harris Jayaraj has teamed up with Hari and Suriya after many years gap for this film and the songs that were released in November 2016 are already topping the charts. Hari's go to man Priyan has handled the cinematography. V.T. Vijayan and T.S.Jay have taken care of Editing.
