Can you imagine a song being shot in the busy Ranganathan Street located in T. Nagar? 'Santhosh Subramanim' team has done the incredible thing to shoot a song in the area, where walking freely could be considered as lucky event.
The team has shot the song in not only Ranganathan Street, but also in busy places like Chennai central station, Mount Road, and Dr. Radhakrishnan Salai.
This is how the song was shot. The cast and crew went to the location in two cars and a van with a camera fixed in it. All of a sudden the actors came out of a car and dance or walk towards the other car, which was parked at a distance. Their movements were captured by the camera from the van. Once the actors reached the car, the car suddenly departed the place. Everything was finished before the crowd could realize and identify that the stars.
This is the modus operandi with which the song sequence was shot in the busy places in Chennai without getting noticed or disturbed by the public.
The experience in Dr. Radhakrishnan Salai was quite interesting, informs an insider. The shooting of a fast paced dance sequence featuring hero Jayam Ravi took place on the flyover near Hotel Chola Sheraton, stopping the traffic with permission. It was a busy place near by the house of CM and hence the entire team was under pressure to finish the shooting as quick as possible. Fortunately Ravi finished it in a single take and got appreciation from the team members. When queried about the single take on the street, Ravi said that he wanted to go home and sleep.
This song is Adada Adada sung by actor Siddharth, who croons for a song for the first time. Director Jayam Raja and the rest of the team are quite satisfied with the outcome of the song.
