Following the footsteps of his brother Prabhu Deva, choreographer-actor Raju Sundar is all set to wield the megaphone.
The busy dance-master, who has worked in over hundred films in different languages, will be directing Dhanush for the Tamil remake of the blockbuster Jogi.
Prabhu Deva ventured to direct a movie with Nuvvastanantae Nenodantana in Telugu. The movie went on to become a blockbuster. He is currently directing Vijay for Pokiri.
Raju Sundaram's one-time associate Lawrence Raghavendra directed Mass featuring Nagarjuna in the lead role and is tipped to direct a Tamil film to be produced by director Saran's home production.
Joining the list of choreographers turning to direction is Raju Sundaram. Jogi will go to floors very soon.
A search for the star cast is on.
Raju Sundaram has, however, insisted that he will turn his back on dances. 'That is where my heart is,' he says.
