A benevolent performer even as a child artist Meena made her appearance on the silver screen at a young age of 12. She made her maiden venture as baby Meena in a Tamil film Nenjangal emoting opposite thespian Dr.Shivaji Ganeshan and Lakshmi.
The Telugu screen saw her first as a child artist in 'Sirivennela' starring alongside Sarvadaman Benerjee and Suhasini in the lead roles. Later, she did her first movie as a heroine with 'SeethaRamaiah Gari Manavaralu' directed by Kranthi kumar.
Meena started her career graph as a heroine as early as the 1990's and rendered graceful performance in the roles asserted. She also did films as heroine with many prominent stars of Tollywood ' 'Muta Mesthri', 'Sneham Kosam' with Chiranjeevi; 'Bobbili Simham', 'Muddula Mavayya' with Balakrishna; 'Chanti', 'Abbai Garu' with Venkatesh; 'Allari Alludu', 'Presidentugari Pellam' with Nagarjuna; which gained her wide accolade in Telugu.
After doing 'Swamy' in telugu, the actress took off to the Tamil industry where she enacted the lead roles alongside Padmashri Kamal Haasan and Superstar Rajinikanth. She starred in 'Avvai Shanmugi' opposite Kamal Haasan and 'Ejaman', 'Veera', 'Muthu' with Rajinikanth. The movie 'Muthu' was released in Japan which escalated the image of the actress to greater heights.
Recently she made a noteworthy act in 'Kathanayakudu', paired with Jagapatibabu starring Rajinikanth in the lead role that resembles his real self.
