Director K Raghavendra Rao started his career as director through 'Babu'. Though he was the son of a great director like KS Prakasa Rao, he entered the films as an assistant director and worked with several directors to gain good knowledge in direction and learnt several secrets to make a film more attractive.
He had directed more than 100 films in his career and most of them were big hits. He earned the name as 'Darsakendrudu' in the Telugu film industry and bagged a prestigious place as one among the top directors.
His films like 'Jyothi, Kondaveeti Simham, Justice Choudary, Jagadeka Veerudu, Atiloka Sundari, Annamayya, Sriramadasu, Agniparvatham, Pellisandadi' are only to name a few among his hit films. He is going to direct Balakrishna for 'Ranga' Panduranga' on his own banner.
