Sai's Winner Inspired by Chiranjeevi's Vijetha
Megastar Chiranjeevi's 'Vijetha' film, which was released in the year 1985, was one of the blockbusters of the year. This romantic and family entertainer stood as an inspiration to then youth. Chiranjeevi was seen as a football player in the film. His performance during the climax episode of the film touched the hearts of everyone then.
Supreme hero Sai Dharam Tej's new movie's title has been confirmed as 'Winner', the English meaning of 'Vijetha'. 'Winner' is the story of a youth who wins the hearts of his dad and his love interest. Perhaps, Chiranjeevi's 'Vijetha' is an inspiration for Sai doing this film.
'Winner's release date has been locked to 24 February, 2017 as a Maha Shivarathri gift to the audience. Rakul Preet Singh has shared screen space with Sai in the film. Thaman has composed the tunes. The movie is being directed by Gopichand Malineni. Tagore Madhu and Nallamalupu Bujji are jointly producing this venture.
