'2016' might not have been a great year for many, but when it comes to Rakul Preet Singh, it is definitely a blockbuster year in her ongoing film carrier.
Starting the winning streak with Nannaku Prematho, which released for Sankranthi this year, Rakul never looked back from then. Post that, Sarrainodu was released in summer, which did phenomenal business at box office. Her hat-trick hit come with the recent release Dhruva, a remake of Tamil film Thani Oruvan which received a lot of critical acclaim.
With back to back hits, Rakul Preet is riding a wave of success and popularity and among Telugu audience. The Delhi-based actress who made a debut with Venkatadri Express, without any references, has become audience's favorite in no time.
Also, she has a good line up of films, which include AR Murugadoss-Mahesh Babu's untitled flick, Sai Dharam Tej's Winner, Boyapati-Bellamkonda Srinivas film and Kalyan Krishna directorial which has Naga Chaitanya playing the male lead.
With Samantha not being able to sign any new projects in Tollywood, Rakul, who already is in the top league, may shine in the next few years as well.
