Gandede Review
by MyMazaa.comThe reputed banner of Kannada cinema, Ramu Enterprises once again bank on the action feast to the audience with no concrete story to boast. The screenplay is routine and mainstay of the film is Chiranjeevi Sarja’s action and dance and Ragini’s mesmerizing looks.
Nothing impressive in the story line the screenplay work is a small solace to this film. Chakri and Mujeer in the music and cinematography respectively contributed well to lift the film.
The robust youngster who is zero in studies, hero in strength, Krishna (Chiranjeevi Sarja) elopes with Nandini (Ragini) from her own house (we have heard the similar line in Puneeth Rajakumar’s film). Coming out from a strong den of Shankre Gowda it is not winning for Krishna. He has struggled as the goons are very strong. His will power and muscle power gets him the comfort zone. But when Nandini dreams about her parents Krishna brings her to the same place from where he kidnapped her.
When the stage is set for Nandini’s marriage with another guy it is Krishna who bounces back with the same tactics. Krishna arranges for his marriage with Nandini and it is time for Shankre Gowda father of bride to bow down for ‘Gandedhe’ (man of strong heart).
In action and dance Chiranjeevi sizzles. In close ups he has to be careful. Ragini is the real treat of this film for her height, looks and ability to perform. Devaraj’s magic is missing, Sharat Lohitashva and Sooryanarayana screams a lot. Cool and composed is Ramesh Bhat.
Chakri gives two lovely tunes – ‘Girigia Thirugidhe Hrudaya…’ and ‘Andhukolladene Eduradhe…’ worth hearing again.
Mujeer has showed his ability fixing camera in many angles. The shot of bunch of tender coconuts falling from the tree that is kicked by hero to disperse the villains plus one of the tender coconuts opening into two pieces is remarkable.
Action films admirers here is a film for you.
