Mungaaru Male Review
by MyMazaa.comThe redeeming features of this film are the excellent cinematography by Krishna, four lovely tunes by Mano Murthy (California), the pleasant force the screenplay possess, fine performance by Ganesh, Sanjana and supporting artists adds up to the high quality of this film 'Mungaru Male'. The additional bonus is sprinkle of rain and love mixed in this film is a new attempt.
Doing a film in natural rain is a tough task. Director Yogaraj Bhat in his third film has been able to get into the right track to attract the whole family for this film. The 50 percent of natural rain effect on the screen is something marvelous to watch. The EK Entertainers in the first pick have been poles apart from the regular film makers.
It is Preetham's journey of love throughout. Born in an affluent family he sees the beautiful Nandini but unknowingly falls in a pit. His going is pitiable. That is because he values the emotions of elders. In the meantime he gives a 'laugh riot'. That is Preetham's nature. He never sits idle, makes pranks keeps you happy. His style of address is very natural and he is a boy next door quality. He is in love with Nandini. It is love at first sight. He is in the picturesque locale of Sakleshpur in the house of Nandini that too on the occasion of her marriage that is all fixed. He is in a fix what to do. He tries hard and he is almost very near to success. But the boy of butter nature values the emotions. His mother slaps him on the face for loving Nandini and tames him. Nandin's mother comes and begs with Preetham to save her dull situation as he is the one who can bring cheer in her. On the other hand Nandini's father Major Subbaiah a colonel in the edge of his life because of a bullet hit to his heart from the back of his heart in the war urge Preetham to give security for his daughter.
What a major twist! What Preetham does? Whether he gives up his love for the sake of three important elders around him? What step Nandini takes? You would see in the heart touching climax. The protagonist who made you to laugh for 12 reels makes you to cry in the end. What a pity for the hero! Love is eternal you feel. But the director says sacrifice is eternal and love is only pleasant.
Ganesh is glorious throughout the film. He is quick on the screen and diction is very sweet like his chubby cheeks. He dances well and fights well in this film. He is going to get a permanent place of hero in Kannada cinema. Sanjana Gandhi is good in acting wise. This is her debut and she is not that hopeless in looks.
The master in supporting roles Ananthnag gives a very fine performance. Padmaja Rao, Sudha Belwadi adds good support.
Krishna in the camera has done wonders. The top angle and low angle shots he captures of the nature is simply superb. Perhaps no one has captured the Joge Falls so well in the camera. The world famous water fall falling from top is captured brilliantly.
Onde Ondu Saari Kanmundhe bare, Kunidhu Kunidhu Baare, Mungara Maleya€¦Araluthiru jeevadha gelaya snehadha sinchandalli€¦. are the very well scored by Mano Murthy the most successful music director of Kannada films.
This one is worth watching for many valuable elements in it.
