England have made two changes for their second Test against Australia, with George Ford recalled to No10 and Jack Nowell coming in on the wing for Marland Yarde.
Ford replaces Luther Burrell, with Owen Farrell moving back to No12. Ford, who had been criticised after missing six kicks out of seven in the warm-up match against Wales in May, came on as a replacement after Burrell was taken off in the 29th minute against Australia in the first Test and played a pivotal role as England fought back to clinch a thrilling contest 39-28.

Nowell scored England’s final try of Saturday’s victory in Brisbane. His place on England’s bench is taken by the Wasps centre Elliot Daly. The Saracens hooker Jamie George also comes onto the bench, for Luke Cowan-Dickie, while the Harlequins forward Jack Clifford takes Ford’s place among the replacements. Yarde is left out of the squad altogether.
